1. HOW DO I MAKE AN ORDER?

Online payment coming soon! Until then, to make your BeadWORKS order:

Download the latest order form, fill in your contact/company details and the amounts for the items you require, and email to us at: sales@beadworkskenya.com.

If you want to simply email us a list, we can also fill the form for you and send for your confirmation. Our accounts department will invoice you and provide payment details.

2. AM I ABLE TO MAKE AN ORDER IF I’M NOT A RETAILER?

We currently support wholesale orders to retailers only, as the shipping cost can be expensive for small amounts of items as personal orders. However, we suggest:

Buying in person from our office, open from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays:  NRT Trading Office, Matunda Gate, Lewa Conservancy, Isiolo Road, Kenya.

Checking our stockists lists for a retailer near you.

Finding a potential stockist near you, which might like to retail our products – we’d love to hear suggestions from you:info@beadworkskenya.com

3. WHAT IS THE TIMESCALE FROM CONFIRMING AN ORDER UNTIL DELIVERY?

Once we receive your order, we will respond with an estimated delivery date. If we have the products in stock, the shipment will be sent out after packing within a few days. If the products are not in stock, we will inform you of the timescale to get them sent out to you. If you have a deadline, please tell us upon making your order – we will confirm a timescale to suit you.

Our artisans work in a logistically very challenging environment, especially during dry times of year, also during the rains.

4. HOW ARE ORDERS SHIPPED?

We currently use DHL and Kenya Post for international orders, and this cost is billed to the customer – if you have a preference or an account, please notify us on ordering. Within Kenya, we use couriers G4S and Wells Fargo, and orders can also be collected directly from the NRT Trading office by your designated agent, by prior arrangement and confirmation: NRT Trading Office, Matunda Gate, Lewa Conservancy, Isiolo Road, Kenya.

Please note: orders may not be given out to third parties without prior confirmed written consent, and proof of identification.

5. HOW DO I PAY?

For international orders, payment may be made by international bank transfer to our USD account; details are supplied by our accounts department with the invoice/s. For local orders, we have a Ksh account; accounts will supply details on invoicing. Customers can also pay via PayPal by contacting sales@beadworkskenya.com, and online payment direct from the website will be available soon. 

Apologies, we are unable to take personal cheques or card payments for orders at this time.

6. CAN I BUY ITEMS IN PERSON FROM THE BEADWORKS OFFICE?

Yes. We generally hold comprehensive stocks of items, however, to ensure you aren’t disappointed or make an unnecessary trip, please email us in advance to check what we have in stock: sales@beadworkskenya.com

We can take payment in cash at the office; unfortunately we are unable to take personal cheques, or card payments for orders at this time.

7. HOW LONG DO CUSTOM DESIGN ORDERS TAKE TO FULFIL?

Custom Orders are all made to order and costed separately; if you have a specific timescale you need to work to for an event etc., we aim to confirm a timescale to suit you. We also need to estimate for the shipping process (billed to the customer).

Depending on the size of the order, and provided we have the appropriate bead colors in stock, the minimum time we need is 6 weeks. If you need samples made for approval before the main production, this will be added to the timescale.

8. HOW DO I MATCH THE COLOURS I NEED TO WHAT BEAD COLOURS ARE AVAILABLE FOR A CUSTOM DESIGN ORDER?

We have a wide range of colours shown on the site; please send us your logo, an illustration of what you need, or an actual sample, to us by post:

9. AM I ABLE TO CHANGE A BEADWORKS DESIGN FOR A CUSTOM ORDER, AS WELL AS CHOOSE COLOURS?

It’s possible that adjustments to sizing or pattern etc. may be made to our existing designs, depending on your requirements. Currently, we do not undertake commissions on designs we don’t already make. Please contact us, as we are more than happy to discuss options on what you need: sales@beadworkskenya.com
