This playful mobile incorporates the technique of beading on wire and wrapping beaded strands around wooden sticks. Lovingly strung, bead by bead, by female artisans in rural areas.
BeadWORKS helps them to diversify family income that would otherwise come from livestock rearing, charcoal burning, and other unsustainable means. When women have reliable incomes which are independent of unpredictable rainfall, communities and wildlife are able to thrive – together.
